¿Por qué tanta gente quiere trabajar para la Administración?

Deberíamos preguntarnos por qué hay tanta gente que quiere trabajar para la Administración.

No tanto por la estabilidad como por la ineficacia del sector privado a la hora de gestionar a las personas. La empresa privada desencanta a sus trabajadores, tanto en expectativas como en remuneración.

Está claro, como todo, que es también un problema de percepción. Pero cuando tanta gente quiere trabajar para el Estado, por algo será.

Cuando sabes que vas a tener acceso a tus derechos de verdad —no al papel mojado y a la pantomima que muchos empresarios representan a través de subordinados y de amenazas pocas veces demostrables—, así como a la utilización del sistema a través de sus propias leyes, donde el tiempo se convierte en un grado de desigualdad entre necesitados y aprovechados.

Muchos dicen: “Todos unos vagos y unos aprovechados que opositan para no trabajar”. Pero no es así.
Hay gente cansada de seguir haciendo más privilegiados a quienes les explotan.

Why Do So Many People Want to Work for the Public Administration?

We should ask ourselves why so many people want to work for the public administration.

Not so much because of stability, but because of the inefficiency of the private sector when it comes to managing people. Private companies often disappoint their workers, both in terms of expectations and compensation.

It is clear, as with many things, that this is also a matter of perception. But when so many people want to work for the State, there must be a reason.

When you know that you will truly have access to your rights —not just empty promises and the charade that many employers stage through subordinates and threats that are rarely provable— as well as the possibility of relying on the system through its own laws, where time often becomes a source of inequality between those in need and those who take advantage.

Many say: “They are all lazy opportunists who take civil service exams just to avoid working.” But that is not the case.
There are people who are simply tired of continuing to make those who exploit them even more privileged.
